Clean, spacious, well-appointed rooms in a bucolic, peaceful setting. What more could one ask for?
great quiet place- comfy beds - clean and tidy
the rive is right out the front door - where a table and chairs are set for viewing
the manager is really friendly and cheerful !
close to the lake and places to eat
After a transatlantic flight, a traumatic arrival at Seattle Int. and a 3 hour drive it was great to have a warm reception and a comfortable bed. Many thanks
Such a nice, quiet location right on the river. Rooms very clean and grounds well maintained. You can see the effort that the managers and owners put into this inn. Great extra touches, fresh flowers on the deck tables, extra coffee and even a fan in the room. Great location to many Olympic peninsula activities, waterfalls, hiking, Lake Quinault, beaches and the Hoh rain forest. Managers were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed meeting fellow travelers at the riverside campfire. We will gladly refer other travelers to this wonderful inn and look forward to staying here again.
A lovely place to stay. Nice room, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Close to Rain Forest and many hikes, and not far from the Pacific Ocean. Jim and Angela are great Innkeepers. Knew all the ins and outs of the entire area which made it more enjoyable for us.
We stayed at the campground only for one night. Nice people and beautiful and peaceful place at the water.
This little in is a very pleasant Rest by the way. We had just a short stay and much-needed rest. It was very clean and meet and perfect for my needs. Thank you for making our trip more pleasant.
We usually camp when we're fishing - but this is a great option when you want to be a little drier and more comfortable. Everything here is very well maintained - so much attention to detail. I love the local art (photography/woodworking) in each room. Easy parking with a trailer. We will definitely stay again!
Our stay could not have been better. Thank you, we will definitely be back soon!
We stay at the Inn each January, March and August for our annual steelhead/salmon fishing adventures. Our stay at the Inn is part of the fun and tradition. We enjoy chefing up our dinners at the grill station, and our chats with other fishing guests during our happy hour prior. Always clean, comfortable, friendly and reliable....
Our stay was enjoyable accommodations were perfect and barb took good care of us would stay again. thanks
Very comfortable, friendly/accommodating, clean rooms, great parking, very close to Olympic national park. It's my favorite place to stay when fishing the Clearwater, Queets and Hoh rivers.
Very clean and comfortable. Valentines cupcakes were a nice touch!
Nice people. Clean accommodations, and level parking site. Couldn't ask for more.
Clean, comfortable, beautiful view even in pouring rain. Right on the river. Nice rustic room. Just a great experience. And the couple at the desk were just great.
The managers were very polite as they always are and very helpful it is always a pleasure to stay there when I go to hit any of the peninsula rivers
Clean, quiet, great staff, very accommodating and flexible
My family and I were extremely impressed by the Quinault River Inn! There was beautiful scenery and had a very high class cabin feel. I couldn't have made the cabin rooms more pristine and I am slightly OCD everything looked brand new and fresh. Very friendly owners that made you feel like you were family. Will return, great vacation stop!
Charming inn on a quiet and rustic spot. Friendly couple who owns the place, moved a year ago from Georgia to Amanda Park, WA. Room not very large but space enough and spotless clean! Comfortable bed and good shower. Really nice and romantic setup with a porch along the rooms with seats to enjoy the scenery. Because there’s a beautiful view on the forests and mountains of Olympic NP. I think about 2 miles to trails like the Rain Forest Nature Trail and a bit further Quinault Lake. Also some nice restaurants nearby (Salmon House can I recommend with lakeview to see the sunset).
Nice rooms........................very clean
I have been staying at the Quinault River Inn for many years during fishing season. The rooms are always very clean and better than your average "fisherman's motel" The view is specacular in any season and the covered deck is always a great place to visit with other people and see how their day in God's Country was. Just love this place !
Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Owners were very helpful in deciding on dinner suggestions. Very close to hiking and sightseeing.
Great location for exploring the Hoh rainforest and local walks. Staff were very helpful. We highly recommend Salmon restaurant and the walk to pizza place was also good. Enjoyed sitting in the seats by the river and the tables on the deck where we enjoyed breakfast were an added bonus. Would highly recommend.
Great location right off Rt 101. Front desk very helpful giving us information on what to do, where to eat and checking us in. Loved the view of the river and enjoyed a glass of wine sitting on the chairs along it after dinner.
Enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Managers were great in helping us plan our 2 days there. We did some wonderful trails and the restaurant suggestions especially The Salmon House were very good. The property is so nice with blackberries everywhere for your picking and eating. Loved the tables on the deck outside our room for having coffee and sweet rolls for breakfast. There is also a community fire pit for roasting marshmallows or making s'mores. The room was good and very clean. Would definitely recommend.
The RV Parking area is very nice and neat. The Inn appears to be clean and well kept (we visited in an RV)The Owners and Inn Keepers were very nice and accommodating. The only down fall is the neighboring facilities. You are parked less than a block from Hwy 101 and the commercial buildings that are located between the Hwy and you run their exhaust and fans at all hours and the local neghbors' car needs a muffler. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and it was well located for visiting the Quinault Lake and hiking the near by trails. The Inn itself looks to be very inviting.
Lovely stay at the Inn. Very convenient to drive the Quinault and Hoh Rainforest, both of which are spectacular! The hosts here made us feel very much at home! Clean and comfy rooms with a lovely porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Short walk to the pizza place and also the internet café both of which had really good food! An extra night would have been great but unfortunately our schedule did not allow. Recommend this Inn highly if you are in the area!
Best place to stay in the area.
"Old school" hospitality -- the way it used to be: friendly staff -- great suggestions on the local area; wonderful room -- not fancy, but exactly what you need (clean, comfortable, convenient); picturesque setting just up from the Quinault River. The view and morning fresh air are spectacular! The native artwork in the rooms is a nice, special touch. Of the 3 hotels we stayed in during our visit to Olympic National Park, this was by far the best. When we return to the area, this will be our first choice!
Very nice folks, had a pleasant stay at a RV site, wish they had sewer hook-ups, but overall a nice spot.
Thank goodness for the air conditioning. Very nice room, clean and well kept. All staff friendly and helpful. Location convenient to all sites in the area. Excellent value. Would return.
The grounds surrounding both the inn and the RV spaces are immaculate and most relaxing. My only wish is that there was a shower for us campers so that we could stay even longer and really enjoy the Quinault River Inn at our leisure!!
Loved this place. Stayed in several areas of Washington. Enjoyed this area the most. Quiet and Beautiful. The room was neat and clean, had everything needed. The people at the front desk were friendly and gave us directions to the sights we wanted to see. Would recommend this place to friends and family who come to this area.
What a wonderful place, beautiful setting, lovely clean room, marvelous hosts, delicious ripe blackberries, and such hospitality! We were there during the solar eclipse - and had been unable to find any of the glasses (and my 15 year old grandson badly wanted to see the eclipse). My daughter happened to mention (shortly before the eclipse) that we had not found any glasses and the owner, who had an extra pair, gave them to us - such graciousness! What a wonderful place to stay!
What a LOVELY place to hang your head and look out at the peaceful river. The accommodations were beyond our expectations. We stayed all four nights too! We especially loved our hosts!
Great place to stay. Charming location. Very warm and helpful managers. Extremely clean and well kept.
We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay at the Quinault River Inn. The inn is charming--the rooms are very clean and quiet. The location is beautiful overlooking the river; the inn hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend the Quinault River Inn to others heading to the area; and we will definitely stay here again when we are back...someday.
My husband and I spent our babymoon hopping across different areas of the Olympic National Forest and spent one night at the Quinault River Inn. The rooms were fantastic and there is a great story behind every room and the art work, the check in very pleasant and everyone was so nice. There is an amazing view of the river with lovely tables to sit outside on the porch and have a glass of wine or dinner. There is also a fire pit if you like to build some Smores or just hang out. My husband and I spent one night at the "fancier" lodge down the road and we were sorely disappointed with that property and could have kicked ourselves for not spending our 2 nights in the area at the Quninault River Inn
Very personable managers, room clean and very welcoming. I even took notice of the black & white prints on the wall. Loved being able to sit out on the porch to eat a small dinner with my friend. RELAXING a 10. Great view, great grounds! Hope to return someday!
We stayed for 3 nights in a 35 ft. 5th Wheel. There is not a lot to see at this end of Olympic Nat. park. The temps were in the high 90s while we were there. We got a little break while hiking in the rainforest. There are only 6 RV spots and they are well kept. No other facilities and no dump station. There is a little store and a pizza sandwich place right on 101 that you can walk to. The store is a little scary as the floors are uneven. The food at Dino's was pretty good. Since it was too hot to cook we got take out from them twice. The owners of the Inn seemed very nice and the front of the inn is very well kept and is right on the river. It has a community firepit.
Lake Quinault is a hidden gem and the Quinault River Inn was a perfect base to explore it from. Clean, comfortable, sweet rooms and the friendliest owners and staff in the world. We'll be back and have already told a few friends.
As we were taking the scenic route between Port Ludlow and Cougar, WA, we stayed overnight at the Quinault River Inn. The setting was beautiful, the Inn was quiet and comfortable, and everyone we encountered, from employees to guests, were helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the Hospitality Room with snacks and hot beverage choices. We loved the artwork around the property and enjoyed reading about the artists in the information booklet in the room. We particularly liked sitting beside the river to relax in the peace and quiet and watch the moon rise.We would definitely stay in the Quinault River Inn again and will recommend it to our friends.
Great place to stay. Super clean, friendly and the grounds are beautiful.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, it was so peaceful and quiet, we really enjoyed our stay I would stay again and would recommend it to a friend. Would give 5 stars if beds were a little more comfortable .
So glad we found this charming hotel in a stunning location. The owners and staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.
A very nice property with absolutely wonderful managers. Beds are comfortable, bathroom very clean and an excellent location to visit both the rain forest and beaches Eager to return for many other visits.
Super stay close to olympic. Campsites nice and clean. Owners very friendly, even at our very late arrival!
The owner of this hotel really nice and their service also very good. The hotel have a nice view for the lake. We love it very much.
My daughter and I had such a restful stop there on our whirlwind tour of Washington State. The kindness of the owners, beautiful surroundings, comfortable and clean room will remind us to that this is the only place to stay in the Quinalt area.
Quiet and clean. Good place to stop before heading further up the Olympic Peninsula. Bed was comfortable, which is a plus for me!
We really enjoyed our stay in the RV space at the Inn. It was a beautiful setting and close to many areas for exploring. It was quiet, clean and pleasant! Thank you!
We fell in love with the beautiful view of the Quinault River, as well as the kindness and hospitality of the owners and managers of this small, personable inn. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely covered deck just outside. We loved it so much, we had to stay there again on our way back south. Lake Quinault and its surrounding rainforest is magical, and this inn is a perfect place to stay while doing some "forest bathing".
We stayed at the inn on June 14, 2017. Very nice and quiet place on the river. The innkeepers are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying at the inn if you are in the area.
We loved this quiet little inn on the river. Perfect location to explore the surrounding area, at a reasonable price,
wonerful place, wonderful stay, nice people! thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay. The inn was small and clean which made it very peaceful. The owners were very friendly and wonderful people to work with. They would help you with anything that you needed. I would recommend if you are passing through the area to stop in and spend the night.
Stayed one night on a NW motorcycle trip. Great stay and very accommodating host.
Very nice place to stay and central to all things to see and do. Our hosts were more than accommodating and so nice. A must place to stay if you are in the area.
We stayed for 1 night during our trip around the Olympic Park Loop. The room was lovely, with everything we needed and the location was perfect. Thank you!
We brought our camper van and dog to stay at one of the RV spaces at Quinalt River Inn. We loved the clean grass lots, level spots, tidy grounds, big back yard to throw a frisbee for the pup. There is also a lovely fire pit by the rivers edge with complementary firewood. The setting was very relaxing, but great access to Quinalt and the local hikes, sites. Jim, Angela and the crew were very friendly and accommodating. Super spot.
everything was perfect as always. thanks for all you do
This wonderful, comfortable inn was the perfect base for my brother and my 2-1/2 days of hikes, where we found 4 of the world's largest Douglas firs in those incredible ancient forests above Lake Quinault! I'd give the inn 5 stars, but we could have used brighter reading lights and maybe an extra chair. The common kitchenette made up for the lack of a microwave oven in the room. Angela and Jim are superb, congenial innkeepers, and their housekeeper provided us with a squeaky-clean room! We highly recommend this inn for you future travelers, and urge you to stay at least 2 days to hike as many as those ancient forest loops as you can (especially the Gatton Cr.-Falls Cr. Loop and the shorter Rain Forest Nature Trail )!
Angela and Jim were the consummate hostess and host. They are absolutely wonderful. That being said, the Inn was absolutely wonderful as well. We had the most relaxing time for our weekend in May. The swallows and the hummingbirds kept us entertained as we sat out in-front of our room. We cannot get back to the Inn soon enough. 5 out of 5 Stars for both the Innkeepers and the Inn.
Have stayed twice at the Rv park, both times were pleasant. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating
Thank you so much for waiting up for us. We appreciated your care and hospitality. I slept so well the night we were there. I don't know if it was the river, the quiet or just feeling safe and at home. What a beautiful morning!
If your looking for a weekend getaway, this is the place. The rooms are within a stones throw from the river with a covered patio to enjoy a glass of wine.Everything was super clean and comphy. I needed some getaway time and this was the perfect spot.
The motel was very clean, managers were very friendly and helpful. I caught lots of fish with guide Robert. We will return next year. Thanks again,
I wrote a whole review on my blog, so I'm just going to link to that. http://nwestnomad.com/uncategorized/hospitality-and-relaxation-at-the-quinault-river-inn-in-amanda-park-washington/
My fishing partner and I had a great stay at the Inn,Clean and comfortable I highly recommend this Inn.
WE we very impressed with the whole experience. Clean, well prepared rooms, beautiful location, and quite convenient.
Rooms were very well kept great customer service will be back for sure
Stayed there with my son for a father son fishing trip. It was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and they were all so nice and personable! We will be back!
Was very satisfied with our room, very clean, awesome view of the quinault river and the owners are hospitable and friendly.
All I can say is "Thank you!".
Great clean comfy stay. Loved the river view. Only complaint is a king size bed would be nice!
Always clean and comfortable.on a very nice river setting
The Rivers Inn is the BEST place to stay in the Olympics for hiking, fishing, or just plain hanging out..clean rooms, great services, free coffee and mints.. Great location as well...please remove the water savers from the showers is the only piece of feedback, as we need more water after a very cold day on the rivers:):)
myself and my two fishing friends stay at motel 12 day severy winter and fish with private waters adventures, this is the fifth year we have stayed at quinalt river in,still have not had a coplaint, great managment, could not ask for better service and extremly helpfull, will see you agin in, jan, feb, march, then again next year
Very comfortable. Nice place to stay.
Perfect location for the fisherman. Walk to the launch. Rooms are spotless. Owners are awesome. Restaurant within walking distance. We'll definitely be back!!
My favorite thing about this place is the location. It's soothing to just sit on the porch and watch the river flow by, or even to lay in bed and watch it out the window. The rooms themselves are always tidy, and I like the framed nature photographs that decorate the walls. There are also some Native woodwork pieces that are very interesting. This place will be my first choice to stay from now and on. I stay in Quinault a couple times every year, as I live in Tacoma not too far away.
We had a wonderful stay. Room was clean and neat. Nice and close to the boat launch for us fishermen. Great weather and the fishing was great!! Thank you for accommodating us by staying late for our check in.
I have been staying at this cozy well kept lodge for many years. The owners are very hospitable and the rooms immaculate and warm. Great price too!!
Very good location et nice environment. we were quite welcomed.
We enjoyed our night in Quinault River Inn. The owners are very friendly. The Location is wonderfull and the room was clean and comfortable
We arrived late after being contacted by phone by the manager that she was going to have room ready and waiting for us. We arrived after dark to a very clean, comfortable room. After making a quick trip to a local grocery, we came back and had a fire by the river that was prepared for us. What a great memory. We left the next morning but briefly met the managers, who were lovely. Would definitely recommend this quiet, extremely well kept and clean motel. 5 stars for location, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere.
Jim and Angela were the best ever. We stayed in the RV area and had some trouble weth our RV. They were helpful and supportive and couldn't have been ncer to us. Thanks to them both, Susie and Brent
We really enjoyed our stay on the river. Since the hotel only has a few rooms, it's quiet and laid back. The owners are friendly and helpful, and they have worked hard to make it a clean, classy place. Nothing has been overlooked!
great spot; friendliest hosts on the Penisula; excellent location and facilities; porch, gazebo, grounds, river-front and view are even better than advertised; rooms were immaculate w/ excellent and friendly sevice; internet/wi-fi was a bit inconsistent; overall: highly recommended, we will back!!
We husband and wife stayed for 3 nights and were enchanted by the beautiful inn. We have so many things to thank for. Kind, thoughtful, hard-working managers and owners. Thank you for lending us an electric teakettle without being asked. Thank you for your restaurant and hiking trail recommendations. We loved pizzas at Dino's and many dishes at The Salmon House Restaurant. We did the Kestner Homestead trail, Maple Glade trail, Gatton Creek trail and the 31-mile drive around Lake Quinault and the Quinault River, as Jim recommended. Amazing!!! Thank you for telling us what to do in Tacoma.
Beautiful room #8: minimalist style (my favorite), tasteful decor, matching wood furniture handmade by the owner Pete, LCD TV, comfortable queen bed, quality towels and linen, beautiful landscape photographs and matching frames on the wall.
Beautiful gazebo built by owner Pete, including built-in benches and lights. Immaculate grounds with trees, plants, flowers, clean chairs, walking path, fire pit, BBQ hut, etc.
Heavy use of air fresheners in rooms. However, the maid vacuumed our room everyday and respected our wishes for no chemicals and no air fresheners during our stay. Excellent maid service.
Lovely, immaculate wooden porch with clean chairs and tables and hanging flower pots. Smokers lingered and smoked there, so we non-smokers could not enjoy the lovely porch at times. The smoke got into our room sometimes when we left the windows or door open for fresh air. Thank you for the fan. It circulated the air & helped freshen up the room. We suggest designating a well-posted smoking area away from the porch to protect your porch, area rugs, carpet, and rooms.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the inn. It's one of the 6 places we stayed during our 3-week trip in the Pacific Northwest. It's a 9/10. We recommend it over Lake Quinault Lodge by Aramark for the room quality, customer service and attention to details by owners and managers.
Wonderful hosts, very nice room with good amenities. Super location and beautiful scenery.
A perfect stop on our cycling trip, we enjoyed the River Inn and the surrounding area
Awesome location, clean and nicely decorated rooms, great hostess!
Location, service and room amenities are all couldn't be better.
We have stayed there before and have always enjoyed it. It is a beautiful setting, very peaceful and quiet. We will be back.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. Perfect place in beautiful location. Warm, welcoming and helpful hosts. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Amenities in the room were great. The chairs and fire pit by the river were a real bonus. Highly recommend. Definitely would stay again.
Our families enjoyed picking blackberries by the river and having our meals on the balcony. We also really enjoyed chatting with the Sowards and the Baileys. This is definitely the place to stay around Lake Quinault - it's hard to leave!
We enjoyed our stay. Felt limited at not being able to use the river. Cable and septic would have been better. Cable especially since there is little to do in the evening.
Really enjoyed the restaurant in front of the resort.
Staff was absolutely the nicest.
Great little inn. Very classy and new. The location couldn't be better.
